Release Date: 1980
COLLECTING

Bit of a meh! this plus version. you see they relaunched with a new plus instruction manual in the plastic case, they didn't bother doing anything else, no game enhancement, no new features, no better graphics...not even a new label for the cart. so yeah. and like space monster was, the most popular title going, they even released this version in the standard non plus areas, like the UK. so you shouldn't have too much trouble if you can be bothered to seek this one out.

PLAYING

f you do get hit by an alien laser, your tank turns into the standard Philips man, all you do then is run under one of your bases and click fire and your back in a tank however the base disappears, so therefore you have 3 lives per screen not per game and if you can't beat those odds, you should seriously consider giving up gaming altogether. So we are led to believe in true 80s A-Team fashion our little man did an extreme makeover on the bunker (which incidentally was indestructible as a base by either your or the alien's firepower, but is a one-hit-wonder as soon as you make it into a tank. GAMEPLAY 4/10.
