Seems Philips were intent on moving across to the plus styling now, a whole new image was beginning to form as we move more regularly into the "expanded memory" realms. This is where the Videopac became more mainstream to Europe, sadly just before the legendary crash, which actually didn't hit Europe as far as demand was concerned, but certainly impacted production. This variant used the same cart styling, just a reboot of the essence of imagery, more cartoon-like, than the stifled pictures with the big numbers, numbers played less of a roll, but later thinktanks revived that importance as older users saw their titles as collectables.
